The size of the houses is informed by the local vernacular. The neighbouring houses are similar in footprint and scale, with pitched roofs.
The design has been directly informed by the existing terraced pattern of development on Wicldow Avenue. The row of houses run parallel to Tonbridge Walk, the 'Home Zone' area to the front of the development, provides an attractive parking court with associated landscaping whilst ensuring the public footpath to the school is maintained whilst remaining a safe access route.
