Willows Estate, Grimsby

On the Willows Estate in Grimsby, Hodson Architects have been appointed to look at the regeneration of the 1970’s ‘Radburn’ layout to promote a sustainable community. We are currently undertaking a masterplanning exercise which aims to address the issues of under utilized ‘green’ areas, alleyways, derelict garages and access to the properties.

There are also more specific issues which relate to the courtyards of old person’s dwellings and areas of low rise flats. The community shops are also being refurbished as part of the scheme with a community outreach office supported by the Police, North East Lincolnshire Council and Shoreline.
