Meldan, Barton-upon-Humber

This scheme focuses on the site of the Meldan Fabrication Works to the rear of Marsh Lane fronting onto Soutergate.

The site area is 1.69ha within the North Lincolnshire Local Plan it has been identified as a potential site for housing. The scheme will provide 108 dwellings (houses, bungalows and flats) providing a density of 64 dwellings per hectare.

The development will be sympathetic to its surroundings in response to scale, building form and materiality. The boundary treatment for each dwelling has been carefully considered creating transitional spaces with front gardens and tree planting to clearly define the public and private realms.
