Sackville Street, Grimsby
Our proposal is a contemporary design of two pairs of four bedroom semi-detached townhouses. Their disposition in relation to existing rows of terrace properties in Sackville Street reinforces the grain of the existing built environment.
The westerly pair of three storey townhouses continues the building line of the neighbouring flats and suggests a continuation of the roof line by aligning the eaves of the townhouses with that of the roof to the flats. The remaining pair of town houses are just two storeys in response to the adjoining bungalow.
The materials used for the development are a mix of facing brick and white rendered panels with punctuating bays, these echo the style of nearby properties and reinforce the character of the street. A driveway providing off street car parking to each property is accessed from Sackville street.
