Chapel Conversion, Great Coates

The refurbishment and conversion of a Methodist chapel to a family home. The lower level of the chapel is open plan (a ground floor loft) whilst structure is inserted to support first floor bedroom cells and a playroom in the roof space.

A new build extension is placed in the north eastern corner of the plot to maximise available garden space. The extension is formed by a large brick wall detached from the exisiting chapel by glazing and timber boarding.
