Control and Services Building, Vireol Bio-ethanol Plant, Grimsby

We have been commissioned by Vireol to provide a new low carbon building to accompany a bio-ethanol production plant on the outskirts of Grimsby. The building will house the plants control and services.

The scheme is based around a central circulation space allowing light into the building at its core. To the north the building takes a heavyweight concrete construction to avoid damage from potential blast zones. This element shields the lighter weight circulation and the brick facilities and offices to the south.
